Located along Royal Road Grand Baie, El Dom Italian Restaurant is the creation of Pamela and Ashley Jugdarree, where they bring the true flavours of Italy to the northern part of Mauritius.

When you enter the restaurant, your senses come to life with the aromas filling the air. El Dom Italian Restaurant specializes in cuisine such as Napolitan pizza, numerous pasta dishes and fusion cuisine that are innovative with delicious twists. Don’t worry, you will find all of your traditional Italian delights as well that will have your mouth jumping with pleasure.

Pamela has mastered the art of preparing Italian cuisine. During her 20 years of training while living in Italy and around the world, she studied under such Master Chefs as Gualtiero Marchesi, Claudio Sadler, Carlo Cracco and Andrea Berton. Pamela has perfected her culinary technique and art of cooking Italian cuisine. She now brings her exciting flavours to the table in Grand Baie. Her husband Ashley, an accomplished Mastro Pastry Chef lends an excellent room service in the restaurant. The duo has mastered the art of Italian delicacies for guests to feast upon on a daily basis.

When dining at El Dom Italian Restaurant, you can be assured that every ingredient is the freshest available; from vegetables to meats to pastas which are created in-house. The pizza dough is perfectly made with delicious Italian Caputo flour and the restaurant only uses Centonze Extra Virgin Olive Oil to enhance the flavour of the cuisine.

The pasta dishes boast mouth-watering flavours combining to bring a joyous dining experience to your mouth. There are plenty of traditional pasta dishes as well as numerous perfect creations of Pamela’s too. The fusion cuisine created with fresh seafood and a variety of meats will make your taste buds pop with excitement.

The fun does not stop with just eating at El Dom Restaurant. You can indulge in your favourite cocktail or spirit at the bar or sit on the terrace while you listen to live New Orleans style jazz music in comfortable setting.

Menu

Pastas dishes on a given evening can include Gnocchi, Milanese Risotto with Ossobuco, Bolognese, Lamb Ragout (stew), Tagliatelle and an assortment of filled Raviolis. There are a variety of sauces available daily.

The Napolitan style pizza is made to order and baked in a wood fired oven. There are specialty pizzas or order a pizza with the toppings you desire.

The gourmet meat and seafood fusion cuisine changes daily. Meat and seafood specials are prepared with only the freshest ingredients available from the land and sea.

Gluten-free and vegan pastas and pizzas are available upon request.

Dessert items include Tiramisu and a variety of freshly baked goodies.

Delivery and Takeout

Takeout services are available on a nightly basis. El Dom Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria delivers from 5.30 PM to 11.00PM in the following locations: Pointe aux Cannoniers, Grand Baie, Pereybere and Bain Boeuf. Hours of Operation

El Dom Italian Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 3:30 P.M. until Midnight. The restaurant is available for special events including weddings, fashion shows, corporate events as well as offsite catering and in-house functions.
