Marine Activities Water Sports Parasailing & Paragliding Aquacity - Belle Mare Watersports is located on the east coast on the beach of Belle Mare which is a perfect spot for watersport activities with its the turquoise lagoon, white sand beach, and the sunny weather. It offers three watersport activities namely Undersea Walk, Parasailing and Tube Ride.



UNDERSEA WALK

The undersea walk activity is an experience of a lifetime where you will be able to discover the underwater marine life closely. It's a unique sensation, like a time stop where you will feel the intense pleasure of a sub-marine stroll enjoying the view of the different aquamarine species in their natural habitat.

Explore the belle mare beach bed at about 3-4 meters depth, where you will be able to admire the rich flora and fauna of the Mauritian lagoon namely its corals and different varieties of fish. One of the most enjoyable moment of our guests is when they get the opportunity to feed and touch the fishes mainly the 'whitetail dascyllus' known in French as 'Poisson Demoiselle'. In Mauritius it has been nicknamed by the local people as ‘Poisson Adidas’ because of its three bars.

You will receive a safety briefing by our qualified guides in our office before the motorboat transfer to the sea platform. Once on the platform, you shall be briefed again, this time on the gear, marine life, safety procedures. Rest assured, you will be accompanied during the entire sea walk, therefore there is no need to worry about your safety. You are in good hands.

  - Underwater shoes are provided free of charge
  - A helmet with a transparent visor is placed on your head. It enable you to breathe normally
  - It is not compulsory to know how to swim.
 - You can wear your contact lenses or glasses
 - The trip is not recommended for pregnant women

PARASAILING

Parasailing at Belle Mare is a thrilling experience which provides you with a bird’s eye view of the lagoon and its magnificent surrounding. It's simply breathtaking.

After a short safety briefing, you will embark on a speedboat which will take you to the launch platform. You will take off the platform slowly towards the sky for a flight above the lagoon, you will feel the wind and enjoy a panoramic view, this is an unforgettable experience with great sensations and emotions.

Aquacity - Belle Mare Watersports offers 3 different packages for parasailing. You can enjoy this uplifting experience in single or double. 

TUBE RIDE

Tube ride is a fun water sports activity that can be done individually or in group but it is best enjoyed in groups with friends and/or families

You will be seated in a colourful pneumatic tube which shall be pulled by a speedboat. The tube will bounce on the waves giving you an exhilarating and a bumpy water splashing ride. It is a must do activity for adrenaline addicts.
