La Terrasse is a family-owned restaurant situated on the Royal Road in Grand Baie. It is a short walk from the center of Grand Baie. The restaurant serves authentic local cuisine with European, indian and Chinese influences.
Be ready for an intimate and authentic Mauritian experience. You can dine either downstairs or on the first floor, or on the beautiful balcony, while enjoying the sea breeze and the magnificent sea view.
You will be served typical Mauritian food and fresh seafood in hearty portions such as fish and crab soup, fish vindaye, fish curry, calamari in Creole sauce, prawns Curry Mauritian style, tiger prawns in Provincial sauce, Shrimp in garlic butter sauce, Crab au gratin, Grilled Dorado, octopus with garlic sauce.
If you are not a seafood lover, worry not there are other dishes to suit you such venison Curry, chicken curry in coconut milk, chicken with vegetables among others. During its 10 year existence the restaurant has been visited by people from all over the world.
